Savio S. Chan
Founder and CEO
Savio S. Chan is a pre-eminent expert on doing business in China and US-China partnerships. He serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of US China Partners Inc., a privately held business development firm specializing in Market Entry, Strategic Sourcing and Marketing Development in China for U.S. companies. Mr. Chan facilitates local and cross-border joint ventures among leading Chinese multinationals as well as Fortune 1000 companies. He also advises brands like Louis Vuitton, Roger Dubuis, Montblanc, Brooks Brothers, Saks Fifth Avenue, ICBC Bank, China Merchant Bank and Thomson Reuters on strategies with Chinese consumers and Asian American businesses.
Mr. Chan is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at various business and retail/luxury conferences including the Richemont Marketing Summit, Microsoft technology conferences and Luxury Marketing Council events. He was named “40 Under 40” business leader Award by Long Island Business News, Hofstra University and the Bank of New York. Newsday named him one of the Top 10 Movers and Shakers on Long Island. U.S. Small Business Administration also presented the Community Service Award to him during their Annual Award Luncheon.
Mr. Chan, who attended Baruch College with a major in International Marketing, has been featured in numerous industry and trade success profiles, including articles in The New York Times, Chief Executive Magazine, InformationWeek, INC. Magazine, Long Island Business News, and Newsday. He serves as Vice Chairman of Luxury Marketing Council China and was the president of the Northeast Chapter of US Pan Asian Chamber of Commerce, the largest Pan Asian Chamber in the country. Long Island Business News named him “Top 100 Most Influential”. Mr. Chan lectures frequently at Georgetown University, Wharton School of Business, Columbia University and Cornell University. He was awarded 2009 City University of New York Asian American Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2012 He was also named one of the 50 Top Business Leaders by Long Island Business News. Mr. Chan also serves as a member of National Committee on US-China Relations, a national Think Tank.
His Amazon #1 best-selling book, “China Super Consumers – What One Billion Customers want and How to Sell it to them” was published by John Wiley & Sons and translated into Chinese and Korean languages. Air France selected his book as one of the “Must-reads” books on China.
Chief of Staff and EVP of Strategic Partnership
Herb Siegel is Chief of Staff and EVP of Global Strategic Partnerships of USCP. He is a global business leader proficient in generating revenue by developing new business opportunities across markets with a history of creating a culture of high performance and rapid growth. He is a highly skilled senior business and technology executive with successful and diversified Fortune 500 experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Industry Analyst Relations who has the demonstrated ability to think creatively and find ways to win regardless of significant obstacles.
Previously Herb served as General Manager and Vice President of Sales in Americas for Falconstor Software (NASDAQ: FALC). As head of the Americas’ sales leadership team, Herb hired and managed 38 seasoned Account Managers, Solution Architects and Field Marketing staff in the U.S. and Latin America to drive organic growth by acquiring new customers and partners as well as overseeing existing customers from an account management perspective.
Before that he served as EVP of Sales for Sterling InfoSystems, where he reported directly to the CEO and was a member of their U.S. Executive Committee, Client Advisory Board Committee and acted as Co-Chairman of the Marketing and Technology Committees. He was in charge of the global sales for the largest North American provider of employment and student screening services, background investigative services and occupational health services.
Vice President of Operations
Judy Ju is Vice President of Operations of US China Partners. She is responsible for daily business operations and addressing clients’ needs across a broad range of services that include strategic sourcing and business development, advisory, and client relationship management. She is a point of contact between each specialized team within USCP and the clients. Judy well understands the clients’ business operations and short/long term goals. She is able to interpret it into the business transactions through effective communications by utilizing her diversified business experience, well-established connections, and ample cross-culture skill sets.
Prior to joining US China Partners, Judy was a Senior Financial Analyst on Wall Street, and a Business Advisor specializing in strategic planning and financial management consulting for SMEs.
A native of Beijing, Judy moved to New York in 2003 followed her first visit in 1998. She graduated from Tsinghua University in China and is an active member of the New York Chinese-American Bankers Association. And, she is always active in local, Chinese-American and international social and business circles.
Senior Vice President, Strategic Sourcing
Herb Levy, Senior VP North America, has over 35 years’ of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. He is an expert in consumer and industrial products, custom-manufacturing and sourcing in Asia. He heads the firm’s strategic sourcing practice and works with some of the largest consumer banking clients where he was responsible for $100m+ in annual expenditures.
