NBA team Nets Basketball retains US China Partners to identify Chinese sponsors. NJ Nets Basketball CEO Brett Yormark has signed an exclusive agreement to retain US China Partners to seek potential sponsors in the Greater China area.

US China Partners will work in conjunction with The Leverage Agency to help identify sponsors for this NBA team with the Chinese forward Yi Jianlian serving as the main attraction. During the 2008-2009 season, 31 Nets home games were broadcast in China. NBA games is immensely popular in China, during the 2008-09 season, NBA telecasts across China is on pace to a total cumulative audience of approximately 1 billion viewers, up 12% from the previous season. The programs have an average audience of 382,000 viewers per broadcast, up 8% from the previous season.

During the 2008-2009 season, a minimum of 59 Nets games will be televised in Mainland China. Current Nets sponsors include Sina.com, Peak, Haier and Nike China.
